When you donate to AUsome Moms, you aren’t just giving to a nonprofit—you are providing a lifeline to a woman who might be at her breaking point.
Research tells us that mothers of autistic children experience chronic stress levels similar to those of combat soldiers. They are the primary advocates, the therapists-at-home, and the 24/7 caregivers. Too often, they do this work in isolation, navigating a world that isn’t always built for their children.
Your gift changes that story.
The Power of Your Impact
When you support this 100% volunteer-led community, your generosity goes directly toward:
- Replacing Isolation with Connection: You fund the events and private forum that provide almost 12,000 DFW moms a safe place to say, "I'm struggling," and hear back, "I’ve been there, and I’ve got you."
Safety and Security: Your donation provides tangible resources like safety kits for children who wander and grants for life-changing therapies that many families otherwise couldn't afford. - The Gift of "Just Being": You make it possible for families to attend sensory-friendly swim parties and holiday celebrations—events where children can stim, laugh, or melt down without judgment, and where families can finally feel "normal."
- Empowered Advocacy: You help us host resource fairs and speaker series that turn overwhelmed parents into expert advocates for their children’s education and future.
A Community Built on Hope
AUsome Moms was started by six women on a group text who refused to walk this path alone. Today, we are a force of thousands across North Texas. Because we take no salaries, every dollar you give is an investment in the mental health of a mother and the bright future of a child.
All of our events are free and always will be. We know how expensive this journey can be. Being able to attend events will never be something you have to sacrifice for. Part of our mission is to make sure ALL moms are included from all walks of life. Your donations help ensure that.
All donations can have a tax deductible receipt provided upon request.
